While learning the stories of the most famous ballets, they will be introduced to the names and the music of ballet’s greatest composers & choreographers.

Theater:  This year’s Shakespeare plays will be: Romeo & Juliet, The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Students will study the plots, and act out scenes from the plays.  They will use spoken word and their ballet vocabulary to tell the classic stories.

Costume Making and Performance:  There will be craft and costume making classes where they will design and decorate a costume to be worn at the program's ending presentation.

They will also do activities to reinforce the information they've learned, such as paint scenes from the Shakespeare plays.  There will be a break for lunch and the 2nd half of the day will be a combination of craft, musical theater and rehearsals.
